His name is John D. Girolamo, and he just published a book in June 2022.

Title of the book is, It's Not About the Sex. True Stories of Human Trafficking from a law enforcement officer, a survivor, a brothel, madam, and an advocate.

And it's broken down into four different parts.

It's a really well-written book.

I found it really fascinating.

I read the first two parts in their entirety, and it was pretty shocked.

I didn't know some of the details.

It's really the violence that takes place in this environment of human trafficking.

So I learned a lot about reading those parts of the book.

And at the end of the book, there's also tips and advice for people to look, things to look out for.

John D. Jirolamo, this is not his first book.

He's also written, It's Not About the Badge. That was last year.

And then another book back in 94, 12 suicide and other short stories. And he is a critically acclaimed author, speaker, an anti-human trafficking advocate.

He believes that trafficking is one of the most underreported issues of our day that cuts across all economic, social, racial, and political boundaries.

And he focuses on stories from rural and suburban America seeking to shine a light on and create awareness of the evils of human trafficking.
