Summary

Welcome to season seven! In the first episode of the “Healing Girl Summer” series, Lexie (Lily’s little sister) joins the conversation for a recap on the past few weeks. From grad parties to formal events to celebrating summertime, the girl’s calendars have been booked and busy! The pair rolls into a bittersweet discussion about life as a post-grad, and what “adulthood” is supposed to look like. Lily opens up about how the people around her have been puzzle pieces to her healing journey, and poses an important question to Lexie, “are you entering your healing girl summer”. Lexie toys with the idea of what “healing” should look like in order to meet her current needs, and lands on a more hands-off approach. The girls bounce a few summer non-negotiables around, including ideas for crafts and how to balance fun and work. Lastly, the girls fidget with an idea of having a playful summer, almost as if you were a kid again. After all, it seems that we’re all about 80 percent the same person were as a child….
