Welcome back to a numbers game with Ryan Gudowski. Thank you guys for being here. Happy Friday, everyone. We made it through another week. Today's episodes, a lot of just news and polling, I think, is really important. It's a little like a mish-mash of stuff to kind of get to that I think you should know about, some numbers you should know about. And then I want to get to ask me anything because a bigger ask me anything than usual, because I have, I'm like hoarding questions. I could be on the show hoarder, which is asking anything questions. So I have to get to some of them today because there's just a lot to, you know, kind of dive deep in. So let's get right to it. First, let's go to some political news. You know, I was talking about the Texas Republican primary, the Senate primary the other day, and I was doing it so quickly as the elections and results were coming in.

I didn't get a chance to dive deep into some data that I think is really important.

And I mentioned you why I think Talarico's chances of winning are rather smaller than people think they are. I've talked about like booking commercials ahead of time. I talk about national fundraising where they're spending money and where they're not spending money. They're not spending money in Texas. I talk about Texas's 20 media markets, which makes it a very expensive state to campaign in.

It's the most media markets I believe in any single state.

I don't think California has more than them.

I think Texas has the most.

But what I didn't realize at the time was that Ken Paxton, not only did he win everywhere, so there's no point of like breaking down the data, but he won especially large in Latino majority communities in

South Texas by a larger margin than he won't even in the suburbs. In the Collar counties outside

of Dallas, he won those areas by like 6040. In the border counties like a Maverick, El Paso,

Brewster, Zabata, Star, star hildago cameron those counties on the border

of texas and mexico he won them like 70 30 someplace even on 75 25 and remember what cornyn's

closing message to voters was it was reelect me and I will fix our broken immigration system.

Like wink, wink, I will get some kind of amnesty through for at least some group of illegal

aliens.

He mentioned Dreamers quite a bit.

But that was like the closing message.

That was the big thing.

Like, give me this vote and I will make sure that you get kind of an

amnesty of some sort.

And also remember, Texas does not have strict party registration.
