Okay, Matthew chapter 6, go there in your Bible,

and we'll bring the worship teams back here in a little bit.

Matthew chapter six, go to verse number 19, and I'm going to jump right in for the sake of time.

This is Jesus speaking.

This is Jesus' words, and he's teaching people about money and where to put it.

So he's about to show us, he's going to explain to us how to handle

money. Now, you need to understand this about God. Jesus talked more about money in the Bible than he

did about heaven. He talked so much about money throughout the scriptures, I think because he knew how

close it is to our heart. So he gave us great instruction, great principles,

great thoughts to live by so that money doesn't become our ruler. So we don't worship money,

but we actually live free of the love of money. Remember, money is not evil. But the love of money,

the Bible says, is the root of all evil.

So God is not against money. He gives it to us, but he actually wants us to worship him and not that.

So watch what he says here in Matthew 6, verse 19. It says, don't keep hoarding for yourselves.

Earthly treasures that can be stolen by thieves material wealth eventually russ decays and loses its value instead what should we do instead

stockpile heavenly treasures for yourselves that cannot be stolen and will never rust.

They will never decay and they will never lose value. For your heart, we're going to land here in a moment.
