In the Bible we see that God makes wonderful promises to each of us,

but sometimes we wonder if the promises will ever come to pass.

We may see the promises coming true in other people's lives, but not our own.

Can God's promises be real to us? Can we see them come to pass in our life?

That is what we are considering in a passage from Joshua Chapter 21.

Pastor John began this teaching on our last program as we looked at the fact that God kept all

his promises to Israel regarding bringing them into the promised land. As we pick up the teaching today,

Pastor John is sharing about the one thing that can

keep the promises from being realized.

Talking about that group that didn't enter in,

it says in verse 19 of chapter 3,
