Good afternoon. Tancro and Bible talk here. But I wanted to touch on something today.

If we go to First Peter chapter 4, I want to put something in perspective today.

And I think for modern 2024 Western civilization, especially American culture and American

civilization, we need a big swift kick in the pants sometimes as to reality. It was we ain't

we ain't got much sense of reality. All right.

Now, in 1st Peter chapter 4, verse number 12, Peter says,

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial,

which is to try you as though some strange thing happened under you.

He said, don't think it's strange.

Don't think it's unique if you go through a trial

and don't think you're the only one in the world that's gone through this. But rejoice in so much as you

are partakers of Christ's suffering. Now, hold on to that. All right. We're going to unpack that

just a little bit here in a minute. But rejoice in so much

as ye are partakers of Christ's suffering, that when His glory shall be revealed, you may be glad also

with exceeding joy. If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye. For the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you.

On that part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorifying. But there's always a but.

But we always ignore the butt. But let none of you suffer as a murderer or as a thief or as an evildoer or as a busy body in other men's matters.

I don't know.

It's amazing how there's great big huge chunks in scripture that that we just don't see and we'll see

the first half of a verse but we doggone sure won't see that second half um so back in verse number

14 if you reproach for the name of christ happy are ye in verse number 15, but let none of us suffer as a busy

body in other men's matters. For the time has come that judgment must begin at the house
