As we record this podcast, Israel has acknowledged there's been a significant drop in the amount

of aid reaching Palestinians in Gaza, but insists the military has not identified famine in the

territory. Israel blames UN agencies for not collecting truckloads of food

waiting at entrances to the Gaza Strip. The UN has repeatedly accused the Israelis of refusing

to give it authorization to distribute the aid. Israeli officials insisted an assertion by the Hamas-run

health ministry that more than 30 people had died of malnutrition in the past three days

was propaganda.
