just back from 10 days in Israel.

The new anti-Semitism is an article written by Noah Feldman, the

distinguished professor of justice, law. He's a scholar from Harvard University

in Time magazine. But what's important here is the discovery that the new anti-Semitism

is profoundly distinct from the old anti-Semitism which was driven or derived from religious

prejudice, perhaps 2,000 years old, perhaps 20 days old.

But in any event, the new anti-Semitism has another driver that may explain how it is

that on our elite campuses within hours or days of the outrage of October 7th

there were protests by young people who seemed ignorant of anything to do with

religion entirely but were as anti-Semitic as anything from the 19th century

Peter the answer for Mr. Feldman what does he believe is driving it?

Well the short answer is that he believes that post-colonial theory, a fashionable

set of ideas on American campuses is driving the new anti-Semitism, somewhat in contrast to the old anti-Semitism that you've already mentioned, John.

And the post-colonial theory, what is that, Peter? I'm unfamiliar with it. The other day they pulled over a statue of Queen Victoria in Australia and I thought what is this about do they know who Queen Victoria is

Do they that did is this an historical lesson or is it the spontaneity of the uninformed?

Well, it's the spontaneity of those all too well indoctrinated by our university campus, by our universities and our

campuses.

What is post-colonial theory?

First it begins from the neo-Marxist assumption

that the world must be divided into the oppressors

and the oppressor.
