And we begin today in the Middle East, where the Israeli military is saying it's attacking Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon

after rockets were fired into northern Israel earlier this morning.

It's the first time rockets have been fired from southern Lebanon into Israel since a ceasefire

deal came into effect in November. In the past few minutes, though, Hezbollah have just issued a statement

saying it wasn't them. But there have been regular Israeli airstrikes into southern Lebanon

throughout, and some Israeli troops remain inside the country. Yusuf Glazer is head of security

in the northern Israeli town of Matula. He described the moment the attack unfolded today.

Around 7.30 in the morning, we woke up to a number of incoming rockets. There were sirens,

and then the Iron Dome system intercepted a number of rockets that were fired from Lebanon.

We were able to see two fall inside Lebanon. We immediately got the residents into the shelters,

according to the Homefront Command,

and as head of security, I made sure we didn't have farmers out in the fields. We contacted a number

of people and communities that we have to look after. A voice from Matula there. Well, how much

of an escalation is this? I've been speaking to our correspondent in Jerusalem for the details.

This morning, around 7 a.m. 7.30, there were three rockets intercepted by the Israeli Air Force entering the north of Israel towards a town right

on the northern border called Matula. There was no one hurt. All of the rockets were intercepted,

but the sirens did send people running for their shelters. This is the first time since the

Lebanon-Israel ceasefire deal in November that we've had rockets coming from

Lebanon into northern Israel and it's really provoked a strong response in the language given from
