Hamas. Hamas.

Hamas right now is in the last stages of its retreat down the Gaza Strip.

It was North Gaza City, it was Center Con Yunus and now it's south, Rafa, a village torn in half by an international border.

Most of the evacuated from the north and Conunus are camped out on the rolling sand hills and beachfront property of South Gaza, Conmunis, 10 after 10.

Conditions are strange.

It is the rolling Mediterranean, but without adequate food or resources or shelter, it becomes extremely

difficult to maintain this much longer.

How much longer is part of the mystery of where the IDF is, where the Israeli government

is, where the many actors looking in on the Gaza War.

And I welcome Jonathan Schanser of the Foundation for Defense of Democracy who begins three mornings

a week giving us the morning brief, always providing what we have of Gaza and then speaking to the other threats.

We've got war threats across the horizon.

I congratulate you for keeping up these reports out of Israel and combining them with the

entanglement of the US government, the UN, all the other actors. I want to start

with Hamas after Hamas.

The Israeli government, the prime minister in these last days,

has a vision of what Gaza will look like after Hamas. I believe in the irony of your

broadcast you challenge the whole idea is there an after Hamas. What do you mean by that
