Israel releases footage that it says shows hostages abducted by Hamas being taken into

Al-Shifha Hospital in Gaza.

At the same time a deal to release some of the captives could be getting closer, we hear from

a former negotiator.

The polls have closed in the presidential election in Argentina, but many voters were unhappy

with the choice on offer.

And the former US First Lady Rosaline Carter has died at the age of 96.

The Emperor's Chappo goes under the hammer. For the past six weeks families in Israel and beyond have been desperately hoping

for some good news about the hostages taken by Hamas on the 7th of October, even as several were released

one was rescued and others found dead.

There have been occasional reports about possible negotiations between Israel and Hamas, but these have so far come to nothing.

Now though it seems an agreement is moving closer.

The challenges that remains in the negotiations are very minor compared to the bigger challenges.

I believe that with the willingness of both parties to engage and to have this deal moving,

we can reach there.
