Israel has dismissed a ruling by the

UN's highest court ordering it to take all necessary steps to prevent acts of

genocide in Gaza. The United States has paused funding to the UN Agency for Palestine and Refugees

after some of its employees were accused of taking part in the Hamas attack

against Israel. A jury in New York has ordered Donald Trump to pay 83.3 million dollars in damages to the writer E. Jean Carroll.

Also in this podcast, these little ant defenders of these Acacia trees which are very

widespread in Africa are very effective defenders of the trees, particularly against

elephants. And the ants swarm up the elephants trunk and bite it and keep elephants from disturbing these trees very much in the landscape.
