one. Israel has intensified its attacks on Gaza with the country's defense minister laying bare its military strategy.

Israel Cats has threatened to annex territory in Gaza and promised the strip will come under permanent Israeli military control unless Hamas releases its hostages.

Hamas have, of course, expressed their willingness

to continue releasing hostages according to the terms

of the original ceasefire deal.

That, by the way, is the ceasefire that Israel routinely flouted

before ripping it up earlier this week.

Israel wants Hamas to accept a new proposal,

one that doesn't include withdrawal of IDF forces from the Gaza Strip.
