resident of Nablus carrying a bandana of the lion's den.

What was, what is the lion's den, West Bank?

In the contest with the Palestinian Authority, these many decades, I welcome Jonathan

Schanzer of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, writing most recently not only

of lion's den, but the scale of Palestinian disruption, disorder, and violence across

the West Bank, across the whole region.

The lion's den is, I suppose we could call it, the newest organized terrorist group in

the West Bank of Palestinian organization that appears to be a splinter group of a number

of established Palestinian violent organizations.

We see members of this group hailing from the likes of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, as well as

the Al-Aqsa martyrs brigades, which is associated with the ruling faqt of faction in the West

Bank.

We understand that it comes from a wide range of disaffected fighters from other groups.
