Major American Jewish Organizations, very privileged to be speaking with Yachael Lider,

the ambassador from the State of Israel to the United States on the crisis in the Middle East

ongoing since the attack in 23. Malcolm, you have a question for the ambassador.

Yes.

You've been discussing some of the, you know, fallacious arguments and misrepresentations

distortions.

I think it appears that the members of the international community are taking advantage

of the moment now to try and introduce recognition of a Palestinian state, a non-existent

Palestinian state, which can only, it seems to me, further destabilize. Is there a connection

between what they feel is happening in Gaza and the sudden push on the part of France, Britain,

Canada, Australia, others to threaten to recognize

in September a Palestinian state in some form. Well, you know, first we have to ask the question.

What are these people thinking? In what Lala land? Are they living? What kind of

moral confusion has descended upon their hearts and brains? A Palestinian state now? In other words,

October 7th deserves a prize. So we're going to declare October 7th,

Palestine Independence Day. That's quite a celebration. And I think that, you know,

Emmanuel Macron and Kier Starrmer and the Prime Minister of Canada really ought to stop

and ask themselves what happened to their sense of morality. While our hostages are being held in Gaza, they're declaring a Palestinian state.

They couldn't even wait to have their hostages released.

They're in such a hurry to get this thing done.

It's the most pressing issue in the international arena, correct?
