I'm sure you've already thought of the Middle East Unquestion, the Abraham Accords, and

yet Joe, a very good evening to you. I followed you reporting for years at Long War Journal

and it's a pleasure to speak. However, it's an unhappy topic. I thought the war was over,

Joe. I was misled. I thought after the last firefight out of Gaza that there was no

future in it for either the Gaza or the West Bank. And yet you're reporting that the

violence is getting worse on the West Bank. And you have a photograph accompanying a

most recent filing showing a group of what I presume to be, Palestinian man carrying

a stretcher with what I presume to be a corpse. So what is driving this now, Joe? Because

there are reports that the funding is dried up for this kind of violence. Good evening

Good evening, John. And thank you for having me on. Yes, the violence in the West Bank has

been actually growing for about a year and a half now. Actually, there has been an

uptick in violence mostly. It's centered around militant groups such as Hamas, Palestinian

and Islamic jihad, and others. And they have primarily been shooting or targeting Israeli

defense forces troops, Israeli citizens, and Israeli communities in the West Bank. Much

of this is being driven by the lack or rather the erosion of the Palestinian Authority.
