YouTube chat. Straight on to our first story. At least 19 Palestinians in Gaza have starved to death in a single day, a significant

increase in the rate of deaths from malnutrition under Israel's ongoing blockade.

These include 4-year-old Razan Abu Zahir, who died early on Sunday morning.

Also on Sunday, 93 people were killed as they approached a UN

convoy carrying flour into northern Gaza in the single deadliest aid distribution massacre to date.

Massacres at aid sites have become a near-daily occurrence since the U.S. and Israeli-backed,

so-called Gaza Humanitarian Foundation began operating in May. But despite the regular mass killings,

desperate civilians still go to the distribution sites because they have no other way to feed their

families. Here you can see the family of a young boy rejoicing because he returned alive and

with a bag of flour. And here's famine expert Alex Deval explaining why Israel's starvation of Gaza is unique in the post-World War II period.

I've been working on this topic for more than four decades, and there is no case since World War II of starvation that has been so minutely designed and controlled. This is preventable starvation. It is entirely manmade.

And every stage of this has been predicted. And at every stage, action could have been taken by Israel, by the international authorities, international community,

those who back Israel to prevent what is happening now from being prevented. And those steps

have simply not been taken. And in the last couple of months, what we saw was a total siege of Gaza, followed by a partial lifting.

But the partial lifting was not to bring in the kind of humanitarian program that we have been familiar with as humanitarians over the decades.

It was to bring in a type of ration program that is simply an arm of the

Israeli military. For those in Gaza who aren't yet so severely malnourished, they can't do their work
