Our top stories. Israel carried out more strikes on Beirut as it continued its campaign to eliminate Hezbollah's leadership.

The militant group confirmed that Israel had killed more of its senior officials

including Ali Karaki and Nabil Kuak.

Mr Karaki's death occurred in the same strike that killed Hassan Nasrala,

his Bula's leader on Friday. The assault also killed an Iranian general.

Iran vowed to avenge the death and announce five days of mourning.

On Sunday Israel also launched strikes on targets linked to the Hutis,

another Iran-backed militia in Yemen.

Right Austrian Freedom Party, F. P. U, came first in Austria's parliamentary election

according to early projections, with around 29% of the vote.
