It would be our Nabi and our soul salallahu alayhi wa sallam.

If any human can say I don't need the opinion of other people,

it would be our Nabi salallahu alayhi wa sallam because Allah gives him why.

But in the Wahi we have, whenever you undertake a decision, consult before you undertake that decision.

And we see this in the seerah of the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam.

There are so many instances before the Battle of Badr.

He called the sahaba, explained to them the Abu Sufans armies over there,

what do you think I should do? After the Battle of Badr, when the prisoners were sitting there,

he consulted Abu Bakr and Omar, what do you think I should do?

What do you think I should do? And in the Battle of Uhud, again,

calling all of the sahaba, asking them, what do you think we should do?

And it's not just in communal decisions like the Battle of Khandak, it's not just decisions

of a community, even in personal matters, our Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam would consult

his friends. And the best example that comes to mind is the marriage of Hafsah,

radiallahu ta'ala ala anha. Hafsah became a widow. And Umar, her father, approached

Uthman who had also just become a widow. And he said to Uthman, Uthman's daughter, Uthman's wife

was who, who can remind me, who was Uthman, had been a Afan's wife that passed away.

Rukhaya, Rukhaya passed away. And Uthman is now single. And Hafsah's husband passes away

in Uhud as well, she too is single after the Battle of Badr, she too is single. So Umar goes to

Uthman, says Hafsah is a widow. And if you feel that she is right suitable, then I'm more than
