Today we're going to be talking about hard work and is wealth determined by hard work?

So this week I saw a post that basically implied if you aren't wealthy or successful,

you aren't working hard enough, right?

If you're not to this level, it's because you just have to work harder.

If you're not waking up early enough or whatever, you just aren't working hard

enough and therefore that's why you're not there yet. So on and so forth. And I really want to

address that sentiment when it comes to money. So let's talk about it. Let's talk about hard work and a good work, work ethic

when it comes to money. So for me, in my experience, I grew up in the Midwest. I grew up in a

small town in Iowa. And a good work ethic was pretty much ingrained in me when I was born. No, just

kidding. But at a young age, I had my first job when I was 13 by 16. I had quite a few part-time

jobs by 19. You know, when I was in college, I was working or going to class from 7am

to midnight during the week for most of the year. And so, yes, I would call myself a hard worker.

And not just, you know, looking at my own circumstances or, you know, my own work ethic.

But when it comes to this narrative of, you know, is wealth determined by hard work,

when I think of a list of maybe like the top 10 hardest working people that I know.
