That is fantastic. They look like they just came out. What about the type of men's ministry though? Does it mean going out bow hunting or something?

I think that is perfect. It is right on brand with what we are talking about. Kyle, he doesn't know what bow hunting is. Have you ever held a bow and shot it at something you intended to kill?

Today on the show, we're asking is toxic masculinity a problem in the church? A few months ago, we featured a show with Christine Cobez-Dumei talking about masculinity in the church. And she said there was a patriarchy problem in the modern church that was unhealthy and destructive.

Well, Carl Thompson of the US men's ministry, Undaunted Life, wanted an opportunity to put the other side of the argument. And he's here to do that today, defending the value of championing masculinity in the church.

He's in conversation today with Martin Saunders, deputy CEO of Youthscape in the UK, whose book The Man You're Made To Be is a Guide for Young Christians. He says we need to leave behind unhelpful stereotypes and help our young people make sense of masculinity in today's world.

So we're asking, do we have a toxic masculinity problem in the church today? Martin and Carl, welcome along to the show. It's great to have you both with me.
