Growing audience that we have here wants to know how much money do I need to make as an Orthodox

Jew living in a somewhat busy city. How much do I need to make in order to stop my Hichdlas

and now focus on my learning, et cetera? That is a super hard question to answer and it has a lot of variable. Let's discuss it.

First thing is first. Before we understand how much we need to make, let's understand how much

the average non-Jewish person in America is making. And that'll like just provide like a context

and perspective for under for like the rest of the conversation just to show you how difficult and challenging

it is sort of to live within our variables.

I was approached a couple months ago by my brother Yaakov of meaningful people fame, Yidwith

Sign, and he said, I think we've got to do a podcast about money as it pertains to

the Orthodox Jew. I said, go on. Because, you know, budgeting, investing, spending,

I said, sold, I'm in, let's go. Where do we shoot? So, two months later, we teamed up with the great Zevi

Walman over at Baltimore, and you'll hear in episode one just how many organizations he's involved

with. And I thought he would be a perfect person together with Yaakov, who started these podcasts.

He's created something called Living Lechayim, which also very excited to see all the different podcasts he's going to create.

And Zevi over at the OU, they've created Living Smarter Jewish, a lot of living.

And you'll see in episode one.

We really focus on the core topics, just a sneak peek into other episodes.
