asylum overhaul. We kind of felt that we'd covered that in Monday's episode

about how the Home Secretary Shabana Mahmoud

had drawn inspiration from Denmark,

where a centre-left government

has implemented some of Europe's toughest immigration policies.

And then we listened to Mahmood's speech in Parliament

on Monday night and thought,

wow, this is even more extreme than we were expecting.

I do so as this government publishes the most significant reform to our migration system in modern times.

She wasn't wrong.

To the British public who foot the bill, the system feels out of control and unfair.

It feels that way because it is.
