So I got a message from a friend of mine this morning,

and I'm curious for your reaction to this.

I want you to let yourself react.

I do not want to affect your judgment,

because sometimes my opinion on things like this

is very different than the opinion of others.

So I'm gonna give you the story,

and I want you to capture,

but you throw a blanket over your reaction,

and hold it there, because your reaction may change,

but your first reaction, I'm curious to know.

So let's say you get a message from a friend

early this morning, as I did,

that says, I'm pissed this morning.

Okay, all right, you have my attention.

I stopped by Kroger yesterday,

on the way home from the medical center,

picked up a few things, including a prescription.

I was shot in the shoulder,

as I left the store by a thug with three priors.

I'm just kidding, it's Houston, you would believe it.
