His reps, basically, from the way the story goes, told the Pistons,

I wouldn't do that if I were you because he's not showing up.

And he wanted to go to L.A.

He bet on himself to go to a certain place.

And it worked.

Yes, and he got a certain place. And it worked. Yes.

And he got a three or $54 million extension.

He averaged 20 a game this year.

You've got Luca and LeBron, and he's turned down 89 mil over four years.

I think at that point, he doesn't know if LeBron's going to be there.
