What's up, Laker fans? Welcome to the Laker Film Room podcast. I'm Pete, joined by Darius.

And D, I've been thinking, this is the first time this summer that I've thought, this is a good

chance that this is the 14 that we go into camp with. There's a chance that

restricted free agency holds up. You and I were talking about some maybe possibilities with

Chicago and A.O. And Zach Collins is an expiring big there. You got a couple expirings in

Portland. Certainly a possibility there's a trade before now and the end of the summer.

However,

if you look at the depth chart, I see a very clear first team, second team and third team.

They're carrying 14 as they often do. And they're, I believe, 1.1 million under the first apron,

which they are hard capped at, which is not enough to sign somebody to a vet man. So if there is somebody coming in, there is going to be somebody going out. And I think, Dee, there's a decent shot. This is the squad, at least to start the season. And I wanted to digest that a little bit, talk about, you know, a couple places that we might want to see upgrades, although that's been a continual conversation, but really kick off the conversation that this might be the team, at least to start out and what that means and what that looks like.

So do you have a similar view, Dee, that this might be the squad?

I do. In fact, I was just thinking about this same exact topic this morning and we hadn't even discussed. The one thing I wanted to ask you, Pete, is what's your gut reaction to that? Do you feel

disappointed? Do you feel encouraged? Do you feel like this could be it? And I'm good with that?

It wasn't just the Vietnamese iced coffee. I was just saying that it was a double whammy.
