But what should Texas fans be excited about coming out of that game?

Well, thanks, first of all, Pete, thank you for having me on.

I really appreciate it.

I would say the main thing that jumped out at me from the beginning was the defense.

That was obviously a huge area of concern

from last year. We all remember us Longhorn fans, the unfortunate game by game of having a

lead at halftime, watching it go away, and it just seemed like the effort was not there. And it

just was, it was really hard to watch. So first thing that got my attention was just the pursuit that everybody had, the energy

that people had, the punt block right off the jump and off the first series.
