You know, we've made it pretty far in the show. We've been doing it for a while now.

We have. I think we're at about 20 episodes.

Something like that. A lot has happened since we launched the old Uncanny Valley show back in October.

October, November. It was like five years ago now.

3.46 years. Something like that. Yeah, nothing's happened ago now. Three, three point four six years.

Yeah, nothing's happened since then.

Nothing at all.

And I'm Lauren Good. I'm a senior writer at Wired. Today, we're going to revisit an Uncanny Valley

Classic. It's an episode we recorded in November of last year. It's all about the relationship

between Silicon Valley and libertarianism. Ah, the old libertarian. It's a fun

word to say. Insert David Attenborough voice here. Ah, the Silicon Valley libertarian. You know,

when we first ran this episode, we got a lot of really good feedback from people who said they

enjoyed it and they learned a lot from it because they had thought of Silicon Valley

as a largely democratic place, which I think it still is.

But in this episode, we sort of unpack how there is this strong libertarian strain that

runs throughout the valley.
