I moved back to my hometown about a year and a half ago and started a new job.

This job has been an adjustment for me as it is a step down from my previous role, but

I do still have my own office and have made friends with a few co-workers, not BFFs,

but we will grab drinks after work from time to time.

So all in all, not that bad.

Recently, a co-worker I'm friendly with, who started around the same time as me in a similar

position, made the announcement that she's pregnant.

So happy for her and I wish her the best.

That was used with the exclamation point so we know she means that.

She told everyone she was pregnant about two weeks ago and that she's doing December.

Since then, she's been using our main conference room as an office, which I didn't think

anything of until yesterday, when she sent me a private message asking to swap offices.

I told her I needed to speak with my manager and I would get back to her.

Her office is on the second floor of the plant.

It's half the size of mine and has no AC.
