I'm Jay Warner Wallace.

This is one of my favorite topics to talk about and I first

started talking about this topic with our youth group. Back when we were

taking trips once a year we would go to Salt Lake City and Provo, Utah, for about a week, week and a half,

and we would engage with Mormon believers.

And so much of the time, our conversations were always congenial always friendly but we

cannot focus a lot on what is the nature of salvation right well how is it you get

saved is it really about things you must do often when we're talking to our Mormon friends and family members,

it really is about an earned merit, an earned effort,

that you must do certain things in addition to,

so grace is really what's, it's the power that... must do certain things in addition to.

So grace is really what's, it's the power

that God gives you to perform these continuing good deeds,

rather than a free gift that God gives you at the cross.
