Between prepping for the week ahead, getting last-minute chores done, your job and your kids’ sports schedules, keeping a true day of rest every week can be hard. And how important is it, really?
The Bible says it’s very important to set aside one day a week for resting and honoring the Lord. Culture, on the other hand, has redefined what a day of rest should look like.
On this episode I talk about some of the reasons why God calls us to keep the Sabbath. I also share some of the challenges my family has had with doing that and how we’re working through them.
Jesus said man was not made for the Sabbath, but the Sabbath was made for man. I hope this episode encourages you to reclaim this gift God has given us.
