But, yeah, like, you know, you get to the end of the college football season, and it feels like it took so long to get to the national championship game.

I think everybody around here is ready after the portal, you know, I guess hall, if you will,

to kind of get spring ball ready and winter workouts have already started. So it'll be,

it'll be August before you know it. Got to get through it, but it should be a lot of fun.

Yeah, because I know college basketball isn't exactly going great for you guys right now with Porter-Moser. We'll see how baseball season goes. But look, Eddie, when you look at this roster, and last year we know how talented Oklahoma was, you look at what that defense was able to do, when you compare with what they brought into the transfer portal, and I think they brought on some good pieces, I mean, Trell Harris, you look at Livingstone, at wide receiver, those guys can be a problem. But then you bring in Harris, the offensive tackle from Arkansas. I'll never worry about Brent Venable's defense, the way I don't worry about Lane Kiffin's offense, the way I don't worry about whether my children will have blue eyes or not. Those are just one of the solid things I know is going to happen. But when you look at this roster, do you think Oklahoma is in a better position heading into 2026 in totality in all three

phases as opposed to 2025 or kind of where do you think this roster is right now?

Top end, I think that they are probably a little bit of a better roster. You know, I think that

one of the things you're going to look at in comparison to this past season in 2025 with what they had defensively, they had so many guys. There was an amount of depth. And I think that it's probably not uncommon to a lot of college programs out there right now that are trying to, you know, backfill from their starting 11 on either side of the football. So they probably don't have the depth.

But when you look at the front line guys and you have a David Stone returning, you have a Jaden Jackson returning, Taylor Wine had to break out season a year ago at the defensive end.

They're really excited about a guy like a Danny Acoye that started to get his feet wet, PJ Ataboray, another guy that really starting to feel like the light came on for him at the end of last season, a former five star.

They feel pretty confident about it.

And I think that like one of the exciting things that you look at in the transfer portal is they brought in guys and the amount of guys that they brought in, you know, they obviously had to rehaul the tight end position going from Joe John Finley to now Jason Whitten, which is still weird to
