A stream of conscious thoughts ahead of NFL week five and looking a little bit at Thursday night football.

entering week five we have numerous teams kicking off their buys this week we have the falcons the bears

the packers and the steelers all on by and couple that with the injuries across the NFL after the opening four

weeks of the season.

There's a lot of players that you'll be looking for replacement names.

You'll be looking to adapt the squad in a different way to try and get a win this week.

And I want to talk a little bit today about some of those decisions because I had a Thursday

night football one that I'm sure some people out there are going to have empathy with, with some of those decisions because I had a Thursday night football one that

I'm sure some people out there are going to have empathy with with some of the names that I mentioned

there and with some of the names that I'll go through with the injuries to then have to decide

am I starting this player or that player and I feel like already after Thursday night football is in

the books that I went in the wrong direction with that report,

I have a little bit of a fear every single week of getting the Thursday night football or the early games,

whether that's a Thursday night game, let's say we get to that Black Friday game when it comes up,

those games that are early in the week in those island games and starting players in those situations where it doesn't work out. And then you're thinking as you

head into the weekend, man, I just wish I could have that decision back. This is one where

I didn't play a player who had a really strong night on Thursday night football. So we'll talk

about that in just a moment, Just an injury overview. We're looking

ahead to this weekend. Lamar Jackson, J.J. McCarthy, both out this week. We also get

Jaden Daniels back into the lineups. That's been a tough one. The last couple of weeks, I've been
