Hopefully you have as well, but hopefully the batteries are now recharged and you are fired up,

ready to go because we are officially one week away from the first training camp practice

for the 2021 New England Patriots veterans reporting on July 27th. Practice starts the 28th.

We'll be there.

Next week, we will have a next Pat episode touching on everything you need to know from

that very first practice of camp.

I'm one of these people who feels like you can actually learn a lot in the spring

in OTAs and many camp.

First few practices at training camp, they'll still be sort of ramping up. They'll look a little bit like spring practices. We won't see the pads on right away, but they'll still be plenty to glean there. So excited to talk to you next week after that, but this week we've got a great episode because we're going to dive into a mailbag you gave us tons and tons of questions related to training camp in terms of what you want to see, what you're expecting to see, what my expectations are. So we'll get to that a little bit later in the episode. But first, we're going to introduce you to one of the Patriots draft picks this year. We love to do this. Hopefully you love listening to these, but I find these interviews to be fascinating, all kinds of enlightening on these players that we just don't

know that much about yet. All the research that goes into the pre-draft process, everything we do here

on this podcast and on NBC SportsBoston.com, even when they take players that we know a little bit

about, there's still so much more for us to learn. So today we're talking to Charlie Harbison of Missouri,

who coached Joshua Bledso, Patriot's

sixth round pick, 188 overall, safety slot corner potentially, maybe a box safety type.

Looks like he could play a little bit of special teams early in his career.

He got hurt during the pre-draft process, so he didn't test number one.

But number two, he also didn't really participate in Patriots

OTAs and minicamp. We saw him out there. He was just watching for the most part. So plenty to glean
