you know, oh, wow, why don't we just convert every single rooftop in every city to a green roof or a productive garden?

And certainly the ideal sounds appealing but you know how practical or how feasible as someone

It's more of a leisure activity for me, more of a hobby.

I'm a bit obsessive about it and I spend an insane amount of time on it, but I don't really ever think of it as say an occupation.

City and help with so many urban problems and just agricultural problems.

It's a terrific idea and I hope that will sometime happen, but it's not going to solve the world's

problems of food production and you know there's a whole idea of kilometer zero I guess it's

mile zero in the United States and all of that is great but I don't foresee the

day when we're going to be growing great fields of wheat or corn across urban areas.

It's, first of all, it's a tremendous amount of work and economically it may never actually be very competitive with

traditional gardening or traditional farming.
