I am re-recording this podcast because somehow, some way, when I recorded it, it all did not go to where it was supposed to go. Apparently, Mercury is in retrograde, and that's a thing. I laugh every time I hear that because in the South, they say Mercury is in Gatorade
0:21.4	because nobody really knows what that means. So I did a quick Google search and technology issues

0:33.6	joining us. Today we're going to talk about a topic that we have normally stayed away from
0:39.3	on this show. And it's not because we don't want to talk about it, but I kind of want to give you a little
0:44.6	background of why. Today's topic is, is it time to leave the classroom and pursue making income as a
0:50.6	teacher in a non-traditional way? And in the beginning, I used to assume that everyone wanted to
0:57.3	leave education. And as our business has grown, I've realized that that's not really the case. So I don't
1:04.2	know where you fall on the spectrum. And I don't want to be so polarizing where I say, you either have
1:09.8	to be this way or that way. I see people that
1:11.8	are like, education is horrible. It is so dumb. You need to leave. You're not getting paid your worth.
1:16.9	And while I agree with those statements and there are moments when it is like that, I also believe in
1:23.3	teachers. And I believe that we are the future of our children. And so I don't want to discredit
1:29.2	anyone that is in love with their job, in love with a stability, who believes in education,
1:34.9	even though it's not what they think it needs to be. I want to support you in whatever decision
1:39.3	that you make. But you may be asking yourself, is it time to leave the classroom? And are there
1:45.6	opportunities out there where you can make income without having to go get a separate job
1:50.6	in some new field because you still love education? And you're looking to make income in a non-traditional
1:56.0	way. I hope that I can help you answer those questions today. And I want to share a little bit about what's
