So yesterday I told the story of what Ava has been through the last six years of challenges that she has undergone and how movement walking, and in her case, running, but more walking than running, has helped her keep her mental edge to remain

And there was something that I wanted to mention as I was telling you that story.

It was something that someone said to, or a medical professional said to or just last year.

And so realized, oh, wait, you know, what I'm going to talk about on Friday, it actually works better.

While we were at one of her medical appointments last year, prior to her most recent surgery. She was going through her medical history,

particularly her recent medical history, either the nurse or nurse practitioner who was asking

all the questions. As they was going through this, the nurse practitioner says to her,

how are you not curled up in a ball in a corner right now?

And I've been saying that to Ava for a while now.

The strength that she has shown going through all of this is remarkable.
