Now, that's because they are not talking about their experience, really. They are talking about the nature of God and his

sovereign capability to do what's good in our lives. So even when we feel let down, we haven't been

let down because God is just a lot of circumstance in our life that we don't like,

but that he is still sovereign over and that he is still good, and he has a reason why he did that.
