Hello everybody and welcome back to a slash pick. Oh just in time for spooky season.

We're talking about none other than one of the most iconic slasher films of all time Halloween. I'm your host

DJ Waldridge with me as always as Adam Wavick. Hey man, what's up? How

excited are you that we got here?'re here baby I rearranged my whole

shelf for this show in a couple ways because my

introduction to knowing Adam was a big slasher fan was his love for the Halloween movies,

but not only that I realized rewatching this, it's like, oh that's right, I have a pet theory about this movie that I think was the germ of an idea of like, I want to talk about these movies more. I want to talk about slasher movies more. So we're talking about 1978's

Halloween. Little introduction because this is going to be the first

episode of this show. This is our technically our third episode that's going

live but is our first episode on my personal channel we're moving stuff like

slash pick over to my personal channel this was was on my other channel OSA, only

stupid answers, but this stuff is kind of a better fit for the stuff I'm doing on

a personal channel, so we're moving it over here. You'll still be able to see

our first two episodes, which were psycho and the Texas

chainsaw massacre they'll be on the same playlist so please check those out we

also schedule's been a little walky because I have a newborn.

Adam and I filmed an episode on Black Christmas because we're doing these movies chronologically

and that takes place in the same year as Texas Chainsaw.

However, due to my hiatus of being a new dad,

it didn't get posted, so we're going to hold on to that

until Christmas, which is fine,

except that there is a little bit of historical overlap between that movie and this movie.
