0:10.2	misconception about how his career has gone up until this point
0:30.0	He's taking a deep shot down the field. He's got
0:39.5	The general conception about Cam Newton is that he was talented but super inconsistent
0:44.4	But I would say as a Panthers fan who watched him his entire career
0:48.3	It was the Panthers teams who were inconsistent not just Cam Newton
0:52.1	There were definitely a lot of ups and downs through his time with Carolina
0:56.1	I'm not gonna deny it
0:57.5	But there was also a lot of times where they gave him a roster that I don't think any quarterback was going to succeed with
1:03.3	After Steve Smith was let go he had his number one wide receivers be guys like Calvin Benjamin Tedgian and Devon Funches
1:10.0	Offensively they never had a very creative game plan typically
1:12.7	He didn't have a very good offensive line particularly after Jordan Gross ended up retiring
1:16.8	So there were large portions of his time with Carolina where he didn't have offensive line wide receivers are good play calling
1:22.9	And in spite of that the Panthers were still a competitive team
1:26.1	And that's because of Cam Newton not in spite of him
1:28.7	But typically it's Cam Newton getting the blame when the team loses and that's how it is with all quarterbacks to some extent
1:34.6	But the 15-1 Super Bowl loss season is probably the best example of that
1:39.6	That team was extremely good but when it came down to the Super Bowl the offensive line played like garbage
1:44.8	He had no time to throw it was just a disaster all around the game
1:48.1	But mainly the blame is placed squarely on Cam Newton at least by most non Panthers fans
1:55.2	And maybe that's because of the one fluky play where it looks like he's not even trying to get the ball on a loose fumble
