Today, NHS providers have said the main political parties have ducked the big challenges facing the health service, while the Royal College of Physicians said their plans simply

weren't possible to implement.

Boris Johnson faced questions over the four-year-old boy with suspected pneumonia who was

forced to wait on the floor of a hospital last week.

The Prime Minister apologised and said he would increase funding for the NHS if he were

to win the election.

And John MacDonald, the Labour shadow chancellor, was speaking in London this morning

and outlined his economic plans

for the first 100 days in power

if Labor were to secure a majority.

He said there would be a budget in February

that he would end austerity

and nationalize some major companies.
