Summary
(00:00-25:48) – Query & Company opens on a Friday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing the news that the Indianapolis Colts are going to be entertaining offers for linebacker Zaire Franklin. Jake also shares the epiphany that he had last night about Alec Pierce.
(25:48-39:15) – Jeff Rabjohns from Peegs.com makes an appearance on Query & Company to preview tomorrow’s regular season finale for the Indiana Hoosiers against the Ohio State Buckeyes. Jeff credits Darian DeVries for putting this team in the conversation for an NCAA Tournament bid with the lack of Big Ten talent they have on the roster and shares what we have learned about DeVries this season that we know will be a staple moving forward.
(39:15-47:41) – Last night Eddie had a wild night. Jake asks Eddie to share why it was so wild and offers some advice for Eddie so his problem doesn’t happen again.
(47:41-1:11:14) – Jake opens the phone lines by asking Colts fans to contribute to the conversation about wanting Daniel Jones or Alec Pierce on the team next season. There is one common theme, and that it is there is very little belief from fans that Chris Ballard will be able to retain both this offseason.
(1:11:14-1:25:08) – The IndyStar’s Kyle Neddenriep joins Jake Query to preview this weekend’s slate of sectional championship games with one-star studded matchup coming in central Indiana. Kyle believes that we are setup for Fishers and Pike to face off again in the tournament, with the winner likely winning the Class 4A State Final. Also, Kyle provides an update on where Lawrence North’s Monshun Sales is at in his recruitment with IU in the mix with other premiere college football programs.
(1:25:08-1:30:30) – Hour number two of Query & Company concludes with Jake and Eddie discussing the Chicago Bears trading D.J. Moore to the Buffalo Bills. Is that good news for the Colts?
(1:30:30-1:56:28) – The Fan Morning Show’s Kevin Bowen makes his weekly visit on Query & Company, despite the lead up that Jake gave him this week. They debate whether Alec Pierce is a luxury or a necessity for the Colts offense, admits that he doesn’t think that Zaire Franklin isn’t going to net a notable draft pick from any rival team, and believes the market for Pierce is going to be far more robust than the market for Daniel Jones.
(1:54:08-2:10:05) – Every Friday at 2:30pm, Jake Query shares a Good For The Heart story sponsored by Franciscan Health. Today, Jake is joined by the Marian Knights women’s basketball coach, Suntana Anderson, to discuss their dominant season that had a very difficult period for two of her team’s key players.
(2:10:05-2:15:13) – Today’s show closes out with JMV joining Jake Query to preview his show!
