This is the busted open podcast. We have to start Sam with what was a conversation that was heavy this entire week and that was AEW and NXT going head to head.

AEW Dynamite there, their A-List show, their showcase show on a Wednesday night and has

been on Wednesday night since they started in 2019. And then NXT going head to head with them,

going on a different night, just starting on a new

network. And we've been building it up, building it up. Nick and I reacted to what we saw

on our TVs yesterday. But I was a bit surprised, maybe even shocked by what I saw yesterday when

the ratings came out for both AEW and

NXT.

And the conversation was the whole week was who was going to win the night?

Who was going to be the show that people were going to watch?

And it seemed like the consensus from the nation and even the host here on Busted

Open was that creatively, NXTXT was going to win

the night. But viewership wise, AEW was going to win the night. And at least the latter part,

we couldn't have been more wrong. Yeah. And I think, firstly, it goes to speak of the wave of

momentum that NXT is on and has been on for some time, but it continues to build on that wave.

I thought what was really great about this NXT show was as much as it was a special attraction show in the sense that it was from the 2300 arena,
