I am Karen Hunter, and for some of you, you met me as a writer.

Of course, I started my career as a journalist at the New York Daily News for 16 years,

and then I started ghost writing, writing with other the New York Daily News for 16 years, and then I started

ghost writing, writing with other people, L.L. Kool-J., Queen Latifah and others. I have eight

New York Times bestsellers, Wendy Williams, writing books with celebrities and people of note on the

down low confessions of a video vixen, things like that.

Back in during the pandemic, I got a call from a guy that is an agent, not my agent, but a

friend of mine who happens to be an agent.

He was telling me about this story of a young man who was a double-leg amputee who just

finished an Ironman in Hawaii, who also spent a good deal of his childhood in homeless

shelters. And the first conversation I had with Roger Sewell, I knew I wanted to work with him.

I didn't know if I would be able to actually tell his story and do it justice. I was finding

myself struggling through the process, having not done it for 10 years being on the radio you lose some of that

you know but I found it and I thought it was important so I'm going to ask everybody to go out and get

this with him. Up next is my interview with Roderick Sewell. I don't know how AI is also going to

replace writing because so much of writing is spiritual. so much of writing is spiritual for me.

Like I get a feeling when I'm in a zone and I'm feeling.

I don't know the AI can duplicate that feeling that you put into words that

then go into, you know, somebody's story and you're telling a story.
