Summary

With one week to go until Sonia's big race in aid of cancer research and Ballymore Cobh AC, disaster struck early on Friday when Jarlath tested positive for the dreaded virus. What should a runner do when they’ve done all the work and the Corona arrived on their doorstep? Push on through, drop tools, forget the plan and focus on having fun? Sonia provides us with her advice as to how to survive any big bump in the road whether it’s physical, mental or personal. There’s our usual trip around the parishes including one epic 8 hour run from a London listener and Sonia’s tip of the week. Jarlath finds the yoga asanas designed to improve Covid recovery time and lots more. In the extended cut on Patreon you can hear Sonia talk about the bump in the road that changed her running career completely and the illustrated episode notes with even more fun and information from the greatest Irish track and field athlete of all time.    For more information on/to purchase the Irishman Running Abroad Singlet, click here: https://www.rwsports.ie/category/irishman-abroad-running-with-sonia-shop   Join our running club is easy on strava.com/clubs/irishmanrunningabroad.
