that I've had trouble with as well, because since I'm, you know, I've spent about 15 years in the States off and on.

And it's something that they are completely fascinated.

But I think they see it in a way.

Part of it is a sort of a continuity thing because they cannot get how when you have an election every four years and you spend billions and

billions on turfy one person out and bringing another person in, how you can have the same person

as a head of state, albeit a titular head of state, for 17 years.
