And we've got a lot to talk about here, guys, in addition to Wake Forest and tempo

and all the things that come with that.

You know, I think strengths and weaknesses, I'm looking at this as, you know,

whose weaknesses are better than the other team's weakness, so to speak.

And also we have some quarterback talk.

Apparently we have some quarterback talk to address here heading into this game.

But as I look at this, Wake Forest has a better offense.

Notre Dame has a better defense.

I think that's pretty clear on both sides.

So which of the weaknesses is better? Is Notre Dame's a better defense. I think that's pretty clear on both sides. So which of the weaknesses is better? Is Notre Dame's offense better than Wake Forest defense?

I would think at first plus, yes. Because I would too. I think Notre Dame's offense, though it will continue to be inconsistent.

Inconsistent doesn't mean consistently bad. I think people forget that

inconsistent you can have your ups and downs. If you play a defense that's vulnerable and you

convert some of these second and eight situations you're in and make it third and two instead

of third and eight, you're going to be consistent. You're going to have a very good day that day.

It's just you're not, I don't think they sustain it for nine games, but I do get the feeling that a game is coming here

where Notre Dame's offense will be better than we have seen

today. I mean, Wake Forest, they've

hit 500 plus yards in all three games that they played.
