Welcome back to Irish Illustrated Insider. It is Monday, June 8th. I'm Tim O'Malley, joined by Tim Priester and Eric Thomas of Irish Illustrated.

Eric, thanks for joining us after a bit of an odyssey at Irish Invasion. I don't mean on the field as much as you coming back from the field.

It does sound like Irish Invasion had a little less access than we are used to. He said roughly 70 minutes,

about 15 periods and a lot of non-one-on-ones. It sounds like it was a August practice. Norbert,

no one of the ring, we get ushered out right when they start to go at it. But I'm sure you still

have plenty of observations across the board. And I really enjoyed catching up with yours and

Tom Lloyd's reports.

Tom's yours was live, and Tom's was some talking to some sources.

So let's start a quarterback where obviously the attention for Irish invasion turns to

2029 guys, who stood out for you among the three that we kind of highlighted off air?

Yeah, I'll start with KL Sam Fong Talia from coming Georgia,

really, really talented young class of 2029 quarterback. He stood out to me throughout the workout,

really probably ahead above everybody else just because of the combination of like accuracy,

the ability to throw off platform, had good velocity. It wasn't the best like consistent velocity of the group, but it was more than enough to do what he needed to do. And when they were doing drills where they were basically cycling the quarterbacks through a line, four of them throwing at once, hit different concepts, allows him to see different parts of the field. It felt like he really worked well within the rhythm of that drill

and the footwork was really in line. So when you see stuff like that, you think, okay, this is a

guy who can move the chains and kind of hit those on time throws in an offense. So I thought

he really stood out in some of those aspects. And then just I got a chance to talk to him. That

interview will be coming out in the next 2448. The wiring is really impressive. Like he already had an offer coming in, but he was like, it's important for me to compete because I love to compete. And I have to validate that they gave me that offer. So I wanted to go out there and show, you know, what I could do. And he talked about how special Notre Dame was. I think he wants to come back for the Miami game. So definitely a name that we'll be tracking moving forward. But 6-2, 210 pounds. He is a well-built dude. These drills don't lend themselves well to guys, you know, having any mobility. But he looks like a guy who, even if he's not like the most dynamic running threat,

if he needs to put a shoulder down and get a couple yards, he'll do that and be able to do so.

In terms of velocity, the most impressive guy the weekend was Lord Malikaru.

That kid can whip the ball, flies off his hand.
