Welcome back, everybody, to another edition of Irish Illustrated Insider, a busy Monday, February 20th, following a very busy end of last week, into the weekend, a bunch of news regarding Notre Dame's offensive coordinator situation as it relates to Andy Ludwig and now Jared

Parker, who was announced today officially met with the media.

Actually, it was announced at the end of last week, but Jared Parker is Nordames's new

offensive coordinator.

We have a ton of ground to cover.

We could probably start about 35 different places on this, Pete Sampson and Tim O'Malley. Tim, let's start with you.

I've written about it, talked about it, tweeted about it, much to my chagrin. And why don't you

give you your perspective on what happened here over the weekend.

Yeah, the only thing I haven't done is tweeted about it and that will continue to be the case.

But everything else has been broached.

It went from, I think the email Jack Swarbrick sent out made things worse.

I would not have sent, I wrote about this

in our Illustrated. I would not have wrote that I would not have sent out an email. There's no need to

send out an email to talk about the hiring process of someone that hasn't been hired. If you

wanted to talk about it because they were inundated with with probably, gosh, judging from our

message board, he was probably inundated with complaints from more important people than

he's ever been inundated within his life right it's that's it's up there um i believe jack

swerber could have handled a press conference of 15 minutes much easier than and it would have come

across better than the email did especially the beginning in in the end, which was totally useless.

It's like a Monday musing gone wrong at the end.

The key, though, is no matter how many technicalities or semantics are involved,

is they were saying they were willing to pay the buyout and about to pay the buyout.
