We are talking, recruiting pretty much in segment one,

because we've had a lot happening here in the last

few days and then we'll get into more of of Notre Dame football the day to day here through

spring practice in segment two but I want to start with you Kevin the news over the weekend

that Justin Rhett who was visiting Georgia and while during trip to Georgia, he decommitted from Notre Dame.

I don't know if that necessarily means that he is locked in with Georgia.

But Justin Rett, a real quality player that was an exciting part of class of

2023 for Notre Dame is no longer there. What can you tell us about

that situation? Yeah, you know, from the outset with Justin Rett, I spoke with him just a couple

hours after he had left his first visit, which I think was like June 1st. And not, not, I don't

mean this in a negative way at all, but he definitely struck me as more of the kind of

kid who would go to a school like georgia or oklahoma something along those lines more so than

notary dame so when they landed just in red it was kind of one of those okay well it's the freeman

era and we're sort of breaking precedent here they're going to get these Justin Rett types.

And so, you know, eventually, you know, of course, he's decommitted.

There was this official visit to Georgia was sort of cooking for a while.

And, you know, obviously when you're any program, you know, including Notre Dame, you don't want your players to take, you know, unofficial visits.
